Since its inception in 2005, this firm has dedicated its services to the management of residential buildings for medium and low-income individuals. The company presently has non-profit corporations among its clients. The management inventory is for market-rate and medium and low-income families living under poverty line incomes. We provide safe communities and respect all of our tenants.

History and Scope of Experience

Since its inception, Genessy Management and Development has dedicated its services to the management of residential buildings for low- and very low-income individuals. The company presently has 10 nonprofit corporations among its clients. Eighty percent (80%) of the management inventory is for low- and medium-income families living under poverty line incomes.

The firm represents 15 clients, 10 of whom are nonprofit corporations. Out of our entire inventory, 18 buildings are subsidized properties with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), California Housing Finance Agency (CalHFA), and the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA).

Several properties are conventional buildings with various government financing; the combination of funds is from the Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD), Los Angeles Housing Department (LAHD), the California Tax Credit Allocation Committee (CTCAC), and the Low-Income Housing Tax Credits.

The buildings are a combination of garden apartments, mid-rise 4 to 5 stories, townhouses and residential units in Southern California area.

Genessy provides knowledgeable personnel and special programs to assist residents with tenant-related problems.
